Winner | Concept $5K Pitch '20
If you try & google "moxHealth" - a project my co-founder & I started a few years ago, you probably won't find anything. That's because within a few weeks of us winning funding for our idea, we were threatened with a lawsuit and preemptively stopped. It's a story for another day but in the meanwhile, we're happy our pitching & biotech skills have proven worthy!
Founder | Recover-N-Go '20
Born out of the MIT COVID Hackathon, Recover-N-Go is a web platform designed to centralize reliable medical information, track recovery progress at home, and leverage mass data to inform medical guidelines to optimize COVID-19 recovery processes.

Hacker | MIT Pandemic Challenge '20
My team and I had 48h to come up with a solution focusing on "COVID-19 education & access to resources" so we came up with inFlow - an app to monitor symptoms and recovery at home. Although we didn't win, it was an extremely educational experience working with mentors and participants from around the world - in different time zones & fields.

Winner | WCMR Hackathon '20
I attended and won my first ever hackathon on microbial solutions for single use plastics. My team and I designed a closed loop plastic degrading bioreactor involving bacteria & algae, ultimately swaying the judges on our idea with an interdisciplinary & feasible pitch. My research projects at WOHS & Kenota allowed me to complete University of Waterloo's Research Co-op Capstone program. In Spring 2019, I became the 3rd student ever at UW to complete the Research Co-op Program. You can view my final poster here

UW | 1st Year Posters & Workshops '18
Being a 1st year RA in two different residences let me connect with many students where I learned that a lack of resource accessibility was a detriment to success. As a result, I created a series of posters, workshops, survival guides, and mental health brochures for UW's dorm residents. If you're ever in central residence, you've almost definitely seen these posters on the walls
