9 TO 5 PROJECTS

Pediatric curriculum | Fall 2024
Co-author, editor & designer of a pediatric lifestyle medicine curriculum to educate medical residents on best practices for patients aged 0 to 5 years
Patient programming | Fall 2024
Built out the end to end patient experience from welcome package to post-care feedback opportunities including access to resources such as tailored blogs, guides, education sessions and recurring workshops (eg: athletic performance, anxiety, sleep hygiene)
Community engagement | Winter 2025
Undertaken local sports / academic partnerships, lead generation efforts, volunteer management, and building relationships with universities for continued research and awareness on lifestyle medicine
Clinic operations | Winter 2025
Behind the scenes work building out our social media strategy, applying for grants, maintaining our website, creating a resource library and running analyses to be as effective as possible

CapIntelipedia | Spring 2023
Imagine joining a lean startup without many SOPs - it's a lot of notetaking & Slacking people with questions. So I built a repository that our CEO's endearingly nicknamed "CapIntelipedia" from scratch - educational resources about the industry in which we operate, client personas & ICPs, competitor analyses, market reports & articles, platform walkthroughs, product inclusions & configurations - you name it, I've taken the time to learn about and summarize it to help streamline our flow of information
Product launch process | Winter 2024
If you've helped launch a product with this team - why is this the project you chose to highlight? Because establishing a launch process across a remote team with 8 departments & multiple client segments / products is a logistical nightmare attempted from scratch. All things considered, I'm really proud that I was able to comb through hundreds of webpages & process fragments to string together a coherent checklist of stage based requirements so handoffs between teams are as simple & seamless as they can be for product dev and deployment

Client portal | Fall 2022
In order to build a client-centric, mobile friendly, simplified "surgery selection & policy portal", I had to work with our data scientist & dev team to crunch and categorize thousands of surgeries across multiple regions and regulations so end users were able to easily identify which surgery they needed an insurance policy for - making their coverage one less thing to stress about
Patient research | Winter 2023
I ran all our patient interviews, user testing & medical research inquiries to build a quick process for anyone on our team to put together evidence based patient guidelines for pre-op prep & post-op recovery for nearly any surgery they could think of. The cherry on top was always the customer emails thanking us for the extra care to provide them with a helpful resource that most medical professionals neglected (cue post-pandemic surgical backlog madness)

Innovation curriculum | Winter 2021
With over 70 students in our entrepreneurship programs, I made it a point to streamline our processes by overhauling our application & onboarding activities, increasing community & social media engagement, and creating a cumulative digital curriculum of our tools & resources
Health Challenges Forum | Spring 2021
Planned a virtual Health Challenges Forum from scratch. Involved recruiting & orienting students + researchers, communicating with health & community partners, preparing numerous marketing & resource assets to facilitate problem exploration among hundreds of students, researchers, and healthcare professionals

COVID-19 Lead | Spring 2020
Was the Sample Collection Team Lead - design, developing, testing, and mass manufacturing collection kits while working on the Health Canada ITC and coordinating project logistics with parallel teams
Study Coordination | Winter 2020
Human factors engineering for sample collection pilot studies. Entailed selection & preparation of materials, IRB documentation and generating results reports and next steps.
Onboarding Overhaul | Fall 2019
Created all of the company onboarding PowerPoints, checklists, manuals, and forms for new hires in addition to delivering a few of the training presentations.
Risk Management | Spring 2019
Led the risk management team; creating SOPs & templates, training the team, and managing the medical device use, design, and process FMEAs.
Graphic design & Media | Spring 2020
Single-handedly created product one pagers, demo videos, instructions, info guides, product labels, and various designs for the Kenota COVID-19 study
Regulatory Affairs | Fall 2019
Interfaced with the FDA for analytical protocols, verification plans, and presub documentation. Prepared a master standards database and initiated device labeling project; instructions for use, operator manual, quick start guide.
UI & UX | Fall 2019
Integrated software & UI requirements to ensure that instructions, images, error messages, and the product workflow all aligned. Special projects included industrial design & labeling.
ERP Management | Spring 2019
Managed product requirements, part number generation, orders, inventory, product scale up, and the bill of materials throughout multiple build stages.

ER Research Study | Spring 2018
Analyzed the impact of an electronic triaging system on 14 qualitative & quantitative variables to determine if/how triage levels and wait times were affected. Recommendations for the hospital included a focus on the registration & re-assessment aspects of the patient visit.
CCU Research Study | Spring 2018
Observed code blue data in multiple hospitals/wards to assess if the implementation of a monitoring program improved outcomes. Recommendations included modifying the system classification/alerts to provide better context for treatment and alleviate treatment requirements.
